7th & 8th grade girls: 1:45-2:45 7th & 8th grade boys: 2:50-3:50 Dr. SooBattlewill be coming to talk to our 7th and 8th graders about defining and establishing boundaries and ways to protect themselves, keep their bodies safe, and foster healthy teen relationships and interactions. More detailed information along with the option to opt out (just in case you prefer your student doesn't participate) is coming next week.Student topics include: what constitutes sexual abuse/assault rather than just a "stranger danger" event, what to do if a friend discloses sexual abuse, social media and internet safety, rules/laws about sexting.
